Declaration of Conformity
Declaration of conformity for ceramic materials and articles intended to come in contact with food
This declaration of conformity is hereby provided in accordance with Section 10 Paragraph 2 of the Consumer Goods Ordinance. The ceramic must be tested in a laboratory to ensure compliance with the maximum permissible levels for lead and cadmium.
This declaration of conformity applies to all glazed ceramic vessels and tableware manufactured by Niko Ceramic Studio with the following glazes:

The ceramic was tested for the release of lead and cadmium (as required by the Consumer Goods Ordinance) by:

The limit for lead release (from refillable items) is 4.0 mg/l. The tests showed a maximum release of <0.01 mg/l.
The limit for cadmium release (from fillable items) is 0.3 mg/l. The tests showed a maximum release of <0.001 mg/l.
It is hereby declared that the above-mentioned ceramic food contact material complies with the requirements of the Consumer Goods Ordinance of 10 April 1992 and Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come in contact with food.
The full test reports will be made available to the relevant authorities upon request and to customers upon request.
